Supplying Files

The safest way to supply a digital file is in PDF or EPS format. If, however, you are uncertain about these formats, please ensure that your digital advertisement can be read in Illustrator, InDesign or Photoshop.

From Quark, Pagemaker or Freehand, please output as PDF/EPS files. We prefer digital files in Mac format on CD/DVD or (if less than 10Mb) by email or via Quickcut. Spot and RGB colours must be converted to CMYK.

When supplying a digital file, please check that you provide:

  • Where supplying Portable Document Files (PDF’s), please save in Print-Ready format.
  • All linked files including printer fonts relevant to the job.
  • A colour laser proof with all pictures in position.
  • Type converted to paths/curves in Illustrator & Freehand.
  • Allow for 3mm bleed on outer edges where relevant.
  • Images in CMYK at 300dpi.
