New Zealand Geographic magazine – the Journal of New Zealand.
During its 20 years of publication, and having just celebrated the release of its 100th issue, New Zealand Geographic has remained true to its founding principles: to celebrate this land—its geography, its wildlife, its natural heritage—and salute its people and their pursuits, in science, culture, leisure or adventure.
As well as covering all aspects of New Zealand history and geography, the magazine examines subjects relating to our near neighbours: the islands of the South Pacific and the continent of Antarctica.
The publication won Best magazine cover at the Qantas Media Awards 2009, as well as the Te Puni Kokiri Award for Maori issues, for writer/photographer Aaron Smale's Ta Moko feature, and was a finalist for Best News-stand Magazine.
New Zealand Geographic magazine is published six times a year. Each issue contains around 180 full-colour photographs, illustrations, maps and diagrams.
